WHAT:
The INEOS Grenadier
WHERE:

The Grenadier Pub, 18 Wilton Row, London, SW1X 7NR, UK

WHEN:

2017

WHO:

Sir Jim Ratcliffe

DETAILS:

The Grenadier Pub in London’s Belgravia might seem an odd spot to link with the invention of a new vehicle but it was here in 2017 that Sir Jim Ratcliffe envisioned a new 4×4. Subsequently named after the pub itself The INEOS Grenadier is now a recognised global brand. The pub is a popular secret retreat from the hustle and bustle of London’s Knightsbridge and is very proud of being the site where the idea for the vehicle was born. Grenadier owners from far and wide regularly visit the pub and now have a definitive selfie spot to prove they were there, where it all began.
